YOUR NURSING PROFILE

Show what you bring to patient care.

01
Credentials

Record your license, practice jurisdiction and certifications for verification.

02
Experience & fit

Share care-setting experience, schedule preferences and availability.

03
Safety judgment

Work through medication safety, communication and scope-of-practice scenarios.

Plan for about 10–15 minutes

For the live process, have your phone, government ID, license details and certification dates ready.

A profile is not a job offer, license verification or clearance to practice. Employer requirements vary.

BEFORE YOU START

Your next step, made clear.

Does Careerpilot ID verification verify my nursing license?

No. Identity and professional licensure are separate checks. Current licensure, restrictions and authority in the intended practice jurisdiction need verification through an appropriate primary source.

Can a new graduate participate?

Yes. Select the new-graduate pathway. A pending license remains pending; a strong knowledge score does not authorize practice.

What does the skill check measure?

General patient-safety knowledge and selected pathway scenarios. It does not replace observed clinical competency, employer orientation or specialist assessment. Item difficulty labels are not an overall competency rating.

What about travel nursing and compact privileges?

Choose travel / contract and your intended practice jurisdiction. The employer must verify actual authority to practice; a home address alone does not establish multistate privileges.

Nursing prequalification

  1. Verify contact

Require first name, last name, email, mobile phone and ZIP. SMS OTP is preferred; email is a fallback.

  2. Verify identity

Use Careerpilot’s government-ID check. Route incomplete or mismatched results to retry or human review.

  3. Review credentials & fit

Collect license, jurisdiction, compact claim, education, certifications, recent experience and work preferences. Keep self-reported and verified evidence separate.

  4. Check knowledge

Eight core safety questions plus role and setting scenarios. Flag gaps for a qualified reviewer; do not automatically label candidates clinically competent.

Live use requires OTP and Careerpilot ID connections, authorized license verification, secure applicant storage, approved privacy/consent wording and clinical review of the assessment.
